In November, 2007, iGHOST investigated the home of a young couple in Oakville, Indiana (south of Muncie).  The residents as well as some guests had reported hearing strange noises coming from a room upstairs, as well as a voice that seemed to say "no", which was heard by the female resident while putting away some things in a downstairs closet.

The upstairs noises had been described by several different people as a shuffling sound, similar to the sound of a cardboard box being dragged across the floor.  It was noted that the upstairs area, which consists of a small wood floor loft, contained several cardboard boxes full of various household items.  A friend of the residents described hearing one day what sounded like a box being picked up and slammed into a wall coming from upstairs.  Upon investigation, nothing was noticeably out of place.

After interviewing the residents, as well as one of their friends who was present during the investigation, iGHOST focused on the upstairs loft/attic area.  During the investigation, iGHOST used infrared video cameras, digital still cameras, and digital audio voice recordings, as well as infrared temperature gauges.  Nothing happened to any of the team members personally while investigating, but upon review of the evidence, we discovered two interesting audio pieces that were recorded in the attic area.  One of the pieces does sound similar to a shuffling noise as described by the residents, and the other piece seems to be a voice.  It is unclear what the voice is saying, but all of the iGHOST team members agree that one word that definitely stands out is "house".  The EVPs are posted below.  It should be mentioned that the home is located a few hundred yards from a rather noisy grain elevator, which made the recording of audio difficult, but both pieces have been filtered for better clarity.
