History of the Site and Claims of Activity

The house was built in the late 1800's. One of the first owners, Dr. Lines, lived there with his wife and children. It is said that Dr. Lines was an abortion doctor, and would keep the fetuses in jars then hide the jars in the walls of the home. His son William, who was 9 years old at the time tragically, lost his life on the grounds. He drowned in the well located near the home. There is also a cemetery located on the grounds. This was the final resting place for Dr. Lines, as well as his wives and children. The homeowners state that Civil War soldiers were buried there as well. The home-owner's mother is also buried on the grounds. Below are the claims of activity: - The homeowner claims to hear a child’s voice say "Mommy" when no other children are around. - Another paranormal group has investigated the grounds, and claims to have captured a picture of the home-owner's deceased mother in the farmhouse window. They also claim to have captured EVPS of a male voice in the cemetery seemingly saying, "You wanna fight?" The old well seems to be the focus of attention, as the groups K2 meters would respond to questions asked. These questions were directed to William, the little boy who lost his life when he fell in the well.

Attempting to Debunk Claims

Upon listening to the other paranormal groups EVPS, the EVP in the cemetery did in fact sound like a male whispering, "Do you wanna fight?" The other EVP captured was thought to be the voice of the home-owner's deceased mother by the paranormal group. As we listened, it was quickly realized that it was just the sound of someone rubbing against the microphone.
The picture of the "home-owner's deceased mother" appeared to be matrixing. The picture was taken with a cell phone camera. The picture is definitely open to interpretation. It was difficult to debunk because we had no access to the inside of the farmhouse. The group claims the bottom part of the "apparition" is part of the dress of the deceased mother. It was noted that something dark was in the window, appearing to be a dresser or some sort of furniture. The homeowners claim there is no furniture in this particular room. In different pictures however, the same dark object is seen, but no "apparition." Again, this was hard to debunk because of no access to the home.
There are many animals located on the property, including several cats and kittens and the family dog. Heavy traffic noted as well. Some EVP sessions were difficult because of this.

Personal Experiences

One of the members was taking pictures and asking any presence to make itself known. At that time, the member heard an audible male whisper in front of them. Unable to tell if it was the homeowner's voice, but they state they were nowhere around the area when this happened.
A flashlight was played on the ground in front of the well. The back of the flashlight was unscrewed slightly to make it easier for any "spirits" to turn the flashlight off and on. The members asked William to turn on the light if he wants us to leave. Approximately 15-20 seconds later, the light turned on. We then asked William to turn the light off, and the light indeed turned off.
No evidence found on digital cameras. Some questionable EVPs collected, including the audible male whisper another member heard while taking pictures. The flashlight turning on was caught on video. This isn't necessarily paranormal, but interesting never-the-less.

The following audio clip is of a possible whisper heard at the time of recording by one of our members. She comments on it a few seconds after (you also hear her taking pictures and the click of her flashlight). The possible voice is faint and can be heard immediately after she says ,"We just want to capture some proof that you're here".
