Claims of Activity
The New Castle home was built around 1939. The homeowners have lived in the home for 23 years. Prior
to the current the homeowners moving in, a documented slaying occurred in the upstairs bedroom. On December 1st,
1985, Bobby Ridenour was shot and killed by his stepson, 15 year old Randy Frost. Randy was later acquitted, and has since
passed away from an aneurism. Below are some of the homeowner’s claims of activity.
-Client’s
granddaughter would be playing outside, point to the upstairs bedroom window, and say "There's Bobby." The granddaughter
had not previous knowledge of Bobby and was a little over a year old when she would do this. She would also point out "Bobby"
inside the home as well.
-Client’s son was on the couch getting ready
to fall asleep downstairs. He was trying to find the TV remote, but couldn't find it and fell asleep. When he woke up in the
morning, 3 remotes were laying on his lap.
-Client’s daughter was working a late shift
and had gone to the upstairs bedroom to go to sleep. There she claims to have seen a solid black human shaped shadow wearing
a cowboy hat walk up to her. It scared her terribly, and then it faded away.
-Footsteps and rustling around upstairs when no one is up there.
Base
Readings
-EMF in downstairs living room 0.5-1.0. Temperature
68 degrees.
-EMF in bedroom where Bobby died was very high. 148 when placed
in the middle of the floor. The rest of the room was 1.5-2.5. The upstairs bedroom was very cold. The clients did not run
heat up there. The average temperature upstairs was 48-50 degrees.
Debunking
Claims
-EMF reading upstairs bedroom where
Bobby died was 148. This is an extremely high reading. There was a ceiling fan directly below the bedroom that was causing
the high EMF reading. This high of an EMF reading can cause anything from hallucinations, delusions, feeling of uneasiness,
headaches, nausea. The homeowners were made aware of the high EMF reading. This could also explain why many of the members
were complaining of headaches and nausea in the upstairs bedroom.
Evidence
Collected
-No paranormal activity was caught on
DVR, audio or digital cameras.
