Case File 08-1213: Newcastle, IN Classification: Private Residence Investigators Matt Shanna Erica Leah Tom History of the Site and Claims of Activity This New Castle, Indiana home was built circa 1939. The homeowners have lived in
the home for 23 years. Prior to the current the homeowners moving in, a documented slaying occurred in the
upstairs bedroom. On December 1st, 1985, Bobby Ridenour was shot and killed by his stepson, 15 year old Randy Frost. Randy
was later acquitted, and has since passed away from an aneurism. Below are some of the homeowner’s claims of activity. - Client’s granddaughter would be playing outside, point to the upstairs bedroom
window, and say "There's Bobby." The granddaughter had not previous knowledge of Bobby and was a little over a year
old when she would do this. She would also point out "Bobby" inside the home as well.
- Client’s son was on the couch getting ready to fall asleep downstairs. He was trying to find
the TV remote, but couldn't find it and fell asleep. When he woke up in the morning, 3 remotes were laying on his lap.
- Client’s daughter was working a late shift and had gone to the upstairs bedroom
to go to sleep. There she claims to have seen a solid black human shaped shadow wearing a cowboy hat walk up to her. It scared
her terribly, and then it faded away.
- Footsteps and rustling around
upstairs when no one is up there.
Attemting
to Debunk Claims - EMF reading upstairs bedroom where Bobby
died was 148. This is an extremely high reading. There was a ceiling fan directly below the bedroom that was causing the high
EMF reading. This high of an EMF reading can cause anything from hallucinations, delusions, feeling of uneasiness, headaches,
nausea. The homeowners were made aware of the high EMF reading. This could also explain why many of the members were complaining
of headaches and nausea in the upstairs bedroom.

Readings - EMF in downstairs living room 0.5-1.0, Temperature
68 degrees.
- EMF in bedroom where Bobby died was very high. 148
when placed in the middle of the floor. The rest of the room was 1.5-2.5. The upstairs bedroom was very cold. The clients
did not run heat up there. The average temperature upstairs was 48-50 degrees.
Evidence Collected - No paranormal activity was
caught on DVR, audio or digital cameras, and no team members reported any personal experiences.
