History of the Site and Claims of Activity

  • Female occupant states that she has seen a short, dark shadow peeking from one of the doorways. She and her husband say they both hear ball room music coming from above their bedroom when they are trying to go to sleep, however there is nothing above their room. They both state this happens almost nightly.
  • The female occupant’s niece spent the night and felt her hair being blown as if a fan was on her.
  • Occupants both hear doors and cabinets opening and closing but have never seen it occur, and their bedroom door opened and closed all by itself while they were lying on the bed.
  • Homeowners state that they can hear footsteps going up and down the stairs.
  • The female occupant is an amateur ghost hunter and claims to have EVPs from their home.
  • Recently, the homeowners were sitting on the couch and saw their cat’s ball roll into the room from another room, and the cat was nowhere near the room the ball came from.

Attempting to Debunk Claims

  • Two iGHOST team members laid down on the homeowner’s bed for about 45 minutes to see if they could hear music or experience the door opening. They noticed that the home is very old with thin walls and could hear other team members on the other floors above and below. The bedroom also sits next to a street and every time a car drove by we could hear the car’s radio.
  • The walls in the home are not very thick you can hear a lot of noises (furnace, people, wind, cars, etc.) That could possibly be the sounds the homeowners are hearing.

Personal Experiences

  • None of the investigators had any personal experiences.
  • While conducting an EVP session in the bedroom where the niece’s hair was blown, the EMF detector went off several times.  We could not find a source that would have made the meter go off.  The EMF detector was set on top a gas furnace that was not on and the meter read 0.1 when we originally set it there.
